LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE

THE COMFORT OF HOME, PROFESSIONALLY PERFECTED

Love where you live. That's the idea behind every project at Dalton Reed Interiors. Margaret Rohr and her team start with your style, then fill in the rest with custom furniture, lighting, art, and window treatments that make each room feel made for you.

Because it was.

At the heart of Dalton Reed Interiors is interior designer Margaret Rohr. Margaret holds a BA from Birmingham-Southern College and an Interior Design Certificate from the New York Institute of Art and Design, bringing both a trained eye and a genuine love of people to every project.

Her approach starts with the client. Rather than imposing a signature look, Margaret uses each client's own style as her inspiration, finding ways to create spaces that feel comfortable, inviting, and never overdone. Sometimes that means building around a treasured art collection or a few favorite pieces. Sometimes it means filling a completely empty house from scratch. Either way, the finished home should feel like it belongs to the people living in it.

  • We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Margaret Rohr. She had a remarkable ability to understand both my husband's style and mine, helping us create a design that felt perfect for both of us. She thoughtfully challenged us to move beyond our comfort zones (and that was hard sometimes), and thanks to her guidance, we ended up with a look that we both love even more than what we originally imagined. What truly set Margaret apart was how much she cared. She was fully invested in our remodel and treated the project as if it were her own. The result exceeded our expectations.

  • Margaret has done a fantastic job helping me to furnish and decorate my new home in Sarasota. I moved here from 'Up North' with very little furniture, so it has been a 'blank canvas' project. Margaret is a delight to work with: she's collaborative, practical (the most expensive option isn't always the best!), responsive, and really listens to understand your style and budget. I so appreciate Margaret's ideas, energy, and partnership in helping me create the kind of home I was hoping for!

  • We bought our home in Sarasota a year ago. Since then, we have happily relied on Dalton Reed's Margaret Rohr as our interior designer and informal guide to other reputable service professionals in the area. Margaret has a sophisticated, knowledgeable design sense and deep familiarity with every high-quality furniture brand on the market. Taking her cues from our tastes…Margaret has helped us create a stunning and comfortable home in a very price-conscious fashion. Bringing her trademark Southern charm and positive energy, Margaret has been a complete joy to work with for my husband and me.

  • Our experience in working with Dalton Reed Interiors and Margaret Rohr was extremely positive. After recently completing a custom build with basic furnishings, we needed design expertise to add the finishing touches to make our house a home. Margaret's keen eye and sense of style meshed perfectly with our taste. Her resources are extensive and invaluable, and she assisted us in selecting everything from fine artwork to accessories, to custom linens, pillows, and more! Her help with selecting furniture and accessories for our extensive outdoor space completed the picture, and spending time with her was a highlight of the process!
